Specializing in the design and manufacture of outdoor furniture, Roda was founded in 1990 by Roberto Pump, one of the first designers in Italy to spread the idea of the Interior Garden – the "inner garden" – a project that aims to permanently cancel the increasingly fine dividing line between interior and exterior spaces. In 2004, Roda became the first company in its sector to design outdoor collections based on an intrinsic continuity with interior spaces, creating a perfectly interwoven harmony. Since 2005, Roda draws on the talent of one of the greatest masters of Italian design – Rodolfo Dordoni – to whom we owe the invention of the IN and OUT concept, focused on relaxation, informality and elegance.
